SignatureB Communications has its roots in the business and personal experiences of its founder, René Brookbank. Born from a passion for building business through personal relationships with customers, SignatureB provides personalized, effective e-marketing solutions to spa, salon, and medical spa professionals, as well as boutique retailers. René believes in the power of e-marketing and uses a unique blend of affordable, permission-based electronic newsletters, advertising/promotions, and online stationery products, to create e-communications that build awareness, inform the reader, and generate results.

René founded the company after experiencing first-hand the ability of email marketing to touch customers and grow business. As licensed skincare therapist and owner of Secret Sanctuary, a small, personalized spa based in Huntington Beach, Calif., René searched for an email newsletter that would allow her to provide valuable health and skin care information to her clients, while generating business for the spa. When no turnkey e-newsletter was to be found, René created her own—with dramatic results.

Seeking to help other purveyors of beauty flourish in their businesses, René established SignatureB Communications to provide email marketing solutions to the spa and salon industry. The rest is history.

René is supported at SignatureB by Janette Gorney, vice president, who directs sales and client relations. Lifelong friends, Janette shares René's commitment to email marketing and finds great joy and satisfaction in helping business owners achieve success through targeted, effective, and affordable email campaigns.

Their partnership and dedication to clients is based on shared beliefs and principles about what matters in life. They met in second grade, grew up in a small town, graduated from the same college (Northern Aizona University), and even roomed together for a short time. They stayed in touch over the years and eventually found themselves drawn to the beach and Southern California. René and Janette make a great team—almost like sisters—because they know each other so well, and that familiarity and trust translates into the abounding enthusiasm they share for SignatureB Communications.
